This moment means more than I expected

Dear Reader,

I didn’t expect this.

After everything that came with the Women Thrive Summit, the preparation, the nerves, and the moment of actually showing up and delivering my talk, I was already sitting with a deep sense of gratitude.

And then this happened.

I’ve been nominated for a Women Thrive Speaker Award.

When I saw my name, I paused. Not because I was surprised I did a good job, but because of what it represents.

This wasn’t about being perfect. It was about showing up fully, trusting my voice, and allowing the message to land where it needed to.

And to now be recognized for that feels significant.

I’ve been nominated for: Most Inspirational Speaker

And also for Speaker of the Year.

I’m still taking that in.

If you were in the room, if you watched the replay, or if you have been following my work and something has resonated with you, I would genuinely appreciate your support.

If you want a deeper look into what that experience was like for me, I wrote a reflection that walks through the full journey leading up to the talk and what shifted for me in that moment:

Read the blog post: https://missionenspire.com/ready-enough/

That post is really the fuller story. What it looked like to move forward without feeling completely ready. What it felt like to be in the room. And what I learned about confidence in real time.

The awards ceremony is happening on Thursday, April 23rd at 8am CST, and I am looking forward to being part of that moment alongside so many women who are using their voices in meaningful ways.

More than anything, this feels like a reflection of something I talk about often.

Confidence is built through action.

This moment is a result of saying yes, even when I did not feel fully ready.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
Jennifer

P.S. If you do take a moment to vote, thank you. I truly appreciate it.

The Flourishing Note™ Hi Reader, It is mid-July, and the year has quietly crossed its halfway mark again. Last summer, around this same week, I wrote a post called Your Permission to Realign. Two weeks after that, I wrote The Mid-Year Reset. I wrote them because I needed them, right then, as much for myself as for anyone reading. I went back and reread both of them this week. Not because anything has gone wrong. Just because it is July again, and I wanted to see if the words still held up....

The Flourishing Note™ Hi Reader, I got home from Branson, Missouri Sunday evening, and I have been sitting with a particular feeling ever since. My family reunites every two years. And every time, I come home the same way. Tired in my body, full in my spirit. Not recovered, not rested in the traditional sense. But fed in a way that only happens when you have spent days with people who have known you your whole life, who call you by your childhood name, who laugh at the same things you laugh...

The Flourishing Note™ Hi Reader, The first time this opportunity came around, I let fear go first. It was a summit I wanted to be part of. I had the experience. I had the message. What I did not have, or what I told myself I did not have, was permission. So I waited. I told myself I needed more time, more polish, more proof that I was ready. By the time I finally reached for the courage to apply, the window had already closed. I tuned in anyway, as a participant. The speakers were incredible...
